Engineering life-changing solutions for people with disabilities
Engineering Vac Work Experience
You can volunteer at Dreamfit over the summer holiday period. You will get practical engineering experience which can count towards your UWA engineering professional practicum requirements. Hours are flexible, but you need to be available for a minimum of 3 days a week (this can be over weekends).
The work will involve fitting out the new
Dreamplex. This includes a mix of hands-on training opportunities as well as construction of the work area.
Dreamfit is now accepting expressions of interest for volunteers over
the 2009/10 summer holidays. You can express your interest using the
link on the left hand side of the page, or by
clicking here.
Expressions of interest close this
Friday, 23rd October.
The Dreamfit Foundation is focused on giving people with disabilities the opportunity to take part in lifestyle and recreational activities that have previously been beyond their reach. UWA student volunteers have engineered some amazing equipment giving people with disabilities the opportunities to live their dreams.
