Inspiration

Having a disability does not change who you are and what you want out of life, nor should it mean that you have to miss out on having fun like everyone else!

Since starting the motorcycle, I have often had people with disabilities commending me on the work I am doing.

They often open up to me and tell me how they are touched by the project and dreamed they had the opportunity to do the things they had loved before or even how they wished for a second chance to do the things they never got around to doing before obtaining their injuries.

Some of these hopes and dreams have included going fishing, driving a manual car, working as a landscaper, playing cricket, going sailing and one even wanted to learn to fly a plane.

I believe these types of hopes and dreams can come true. People with physical disabilities simply need someone to modify the regular equipment so their physical limitations are no longer an issue. All it takes is a little imagination and some technical know how.

You can not imagine the feeling you get when you tell someone that their impossible dream isn't so impossible after all. The only problem is that they don't know of anyone who is able or willing to do this modification for them.

This is heart breaking and I want to do something about it, which is where Dreamfit comes into play.
