Innovative Recreational and Leisure Equipment for People with Disabilities

Help Dreamfit

As a mechanical engineering honours student at the University of Western Australia, I spent two years of my life researching and developing the motorcycle prototype, purely for the pleasure of helping a friend.

I have since been contacted by people with disabilities, from all around the world asking if I could build them I bike so they to can ride.

I would love to help, so that's why I have started Dreamfit but starting a new business has many start-up costs such as purchasing equipment and legal fees.

As I'm just 21 and am only just finishing my engineering degree, I don't have a lot of money to pump into the business. Hey, I don't even own my treasured motorcycle anymore after I donated it to the project.

Dreamfit's success will be highly dependant on whether it receives community support. Read on to find out how you can help.

Become a Member (Free)

I want to help as many people with disabilities as possible to ride motorcycles so I am starting a non-for-profit disabled recreation club. The more members we have, the more chance there is of receiving funding to help pay for the custom modification of these motorcycles.

Membership registration is free, you don't have to have a disability and there are no commitments so why not?

Make a Donation

The Nescafe Big Break is by no means a certainty and the winner will not be announced until the end of the year.

I have several people waiting patiently and excitedly for their dream - a chance to exchange their wheelchair for a motorcycle.

Sponsor a Project

Do you already own your own business or do you work for someone that has a kind heart and may be interested in this worthwhile project?

Example sponsors include:

  • James Collins kindly donated his time and services to develop and host this web site.
  • Robert Cameron and Co donated aluminium and machining time during R&D.
  • SKF supplies any bearings needed free of charge.

Help a young guy to make a difference to the lives of people with disabilities by sponsoring a project or supporting the Dreamfit venture itself. Contact us for more information.
