Inaccessible is Unacceptable
is at the centre of everything we do here at the Dreamfit Foundation. We believe everyone has the right to be an active participant in our community and people with disability are no exception. People with disabilities face many challenges, struggles and frustrations to access facilities and opportunities that the able-bodied community so often take for granted. Our focus is on tackling complex access issues in the areas of recreation, exercise, rehabilitation and living needs. We use innovative engineering to find solutions so people with disabilities can live their dreams and achieve greater access and inclusion in society.
How many people have a disability?
Around 405,500 Western Australians have disabilities (20.6 per cent of the population).
Of the 405,500 Western Australians with disabilities, 115,800 people have profound or severe core activity limitation. 71,600 of these are under 65 years of age.
Most people with disabilities experience some form of limitation or restriction due to their disability. This is defined in terms of the impact of the disability on selected activities of daily living.

People with disabilities are our inspiration
Our equipment innovations have been inspired by one person simply sharing their dream:
‘I wish I could …’, or by an organisation contacting us with a great idea to provide new opportunities for people with disabilities.
Do you have a dream or a great idea that you would like to share?
