Dreamfit’s modified Ski Boat Wild Dreams gives people the opportunity to overcome their physical ability and enjoy boating on Perth’s Swan River.
Justin Lunn, an incomplete quadriplegic, was the first person with a disability to Skipper Wild Dreams when the boat was launched in 2007.
Unfortunately during the second time out on the water, a plastic bag was inhaled into the engine, blocking the water intake and subsequently cooking the engine. At this stage Wild Dreams is moored permanently, pending replacement of the engine. This is going to cost at least $16,000!
So far, we have raised over $8000! We are looking for a second hand motor, which will enable us to get Wild Dreams back on the water even sooner!
