Our Board

Kay Hallahan AO, (Board Chair) 

Kay is a former Minister for Education and Training, and Member of State Parliament and has served on many community Boards. As Chair of the Dreamfit Foundation Board, Kay brings a wealth of experience in relation to Dreamfit’s governance and community sector activities. Kay is also a member of the Order of Australia.

Sergio Di Vincenzo (Deputy Chair)

Sergio is the Managing Director of Aspen Corporate and a Certified Practising Accountant. Sergio brings corporate knowledge in accountancy, business advice and financial services to his board role. Through his own experiences with muscular atrophy, Sergio recognises the importance of improving quality of life and providing new opportunities for people with disabilities.

David Wall (Treasurer)

David is a Partner and Chartered Accountant at RSM Bird Cameron. David provides quality advice to the Board of Dreamfit with his expertise in Financial Audit Services and Risk Management Services for agencies in the mining, health, energy and engineering industries. David is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Professor Brett Kirk, (Board Member)

As the Head of Mechanical Engineering at UWA, Brett provides guidance regarding the many innovative engineering projects conducted at Dreamfit Foundation. He assisted with the development of the collaborative agreement between The University of Western Australia and Dreamfit Foundation. Through this collaboration, engineering students complete practical experience at the Foundation whilst developing unique access solutions for people with disabilities.

Bianca Rinehart, (Board Member)

Bianca is a Director of Hancock Prospecting and the Hancock Family Medical Foundation. Bianca has an established presence within Australia's corporate and philanthropic circles, and brings a youthful dynamism and perspective to the Dreamfit Foundation Board.

Professor Alan Robson AM, (Board Member)

Alan is the Vice Chancellor at the University of Western Australia. Alan also brings extensive experience as a scientist, academic and organisational leader to the Board. Alan’s involvement in developing equipment for people with disabilities began in 2003 when he supported Darren Lomman’s hand-controlled motorcycle project. Alan is a Member of the Order of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

Darren Lomman, (Board Member)

Darren Lomman is the CEO and Founder of the Dreamfit Foundation and provides advice to the board in his capacity as CEO. Darren is a Churchill Fellow, and has been recognised for his role at the Foundation and his commitment to the disability sector through awards such as the 2008 Engineers Australia Young Mechanical Engineer award, 2007 WA Young Australian of the Year, and a 2007 National Disability Award.
